The five best retro games
5) Avalanche
An unusually fun game off of the internet aptly named avalanche as a downpour of giant blocks comes down to crush you. The aim of the game is to jump onto these blocks whilst also looking for danger above. But beware, to add to your troubles lava is also rising below you quickly making this game a fun, fast-paced scramble.
4) tetris
Tetris is yet another classic where you must build a giant block in the most efficient way possible with small blocks. It's a great game for stimulating the mind and generally relaxing.
3) space invaders
Space invaders: the perfect way to train today's youth to combat aliens in the future.
2) pac-man
Pac-Man is an eternal classic, like the other games here. When playing, you feel the panic from running away from the ghosts whilst trying to collect all the blocks. But when you collect one of the special blocks, the game turns round and you chase and eat the ghosts for more points. Many people will probably remember playing this game at an arcade so it should be fairly touch-and-go if you play it again.
1) Pokemon red
I loved playing this game in my childhood as there is literally no limit to how much time you can spend playing and improving your file, You capture and train pokemon to beat other trainer's pokemon, a system that just seems to work to a great effect.
